           On January 17-22, 2010 the Embassy jointly with the Belarusian State Concern of Food Industry «Belgospischeprom» organized a visit of the representatives of «Rectory Foods Ltd» company in the Republic of Belarus to explore the possibility of exporting frozen vegetables, fruits, berries, mushrooms and poultry in the UK as well as in other countries.

The representatives of «Rectory Foods Ltd» visited major Belarusian state-owned and private manufacturers of frozen products. They also had meetings with Mr I. Danchenka, the «Belgospischeprom» chairman, and with the «Belarusian union of consumer societies» experts.

Potential volume and terms of supply of the frozen products to the UK and other markets in 2010 were in focus of discussion. As a result of negotiations, «Belgospischeprom» and «Rectory Foods Ltd» company signed a memorandum of intentions about joint activities.
