On 20-22 January, 2010 the Embassy organized a visit of Nottingham city delegation in Minsk. The British delegation comprised 18 persons, including 3 members of Nottingham City Council. The main purpose of the visit was to discuss potential participation of British companies in master planning and construction of the «Residential Compound Nottingham» in Minsk.

The Embassy has always been instrumental in promoting bilateral cooperation between Minsk and Nottingham that are the twin cities.
