Ceremony marks Holocaust Memorial Day January 27, 2010 The Holocaust Memorial Day is annually marked and a solemn ceremony is held by the Trustees of the Soviet Memorial Trust Fund at the Soviet War Memorial in As usual, HE Ambassador of Belarus Aleksandr Mikhnevich joined the Mayor of Southwark, national and local politicians, British war veterans, diplomatic representatives of several embassies and many other supporters in this act and laid a wreath at the memorial for the memory of the victims of World War II to commemorate the Soviet Army's liberation of Auschwitz death camp on January 27 1945.
