International Business Wales organized on 4 – 5 February in Cardiff and Wrexham a seminar for local businesses "Doing Business with Belarus, Russia and Ukraine".

IBW invited British and international experts to share their experience in doing business with Russia and other countries of the region, specifically in trade related matters, visa support, transport and logistics, certification procedures.

UKT&I Representative from the UK Embassy in Kiev presented business possibilities in Ukraine.

Head of the Trade and Economic Group of the Embassy, Mr Alexander Sidoruk took part in the event and made a presentation "Business and Investment Opportunities in Belarus" with a focus on economic situation in the country, its export potential, as well as trade and investment opportunities. He also highlighted recent governmental measures on economic liberalization and favourable investment climate in Belarus.

During the further networking different economic issues were discussed, Embassy's representative answered numerous questions of the participants.

More then 30 Welsh businesses took part in a two-day event.
